The BHS Continuous-Indexing Vacuum Belt Filter provides for vacuum filtration, cake washing, pressing and drying of high solids slurries. The technology is based upon fixed vacuum trays, continuously feeding slurry system and indexing or step-wise movement of the filter media.
The design of the BHS indexing belt filter facilitates uniform suspension feeding via optimized distribution devices that gently introduce the solids into the process. The filter cake formed by gravity and a vacuum is not subject to any mechanical forces during transportation or further treatment.

We carry out these tests in our filtration laboratory - but also offer the plants for rent for tests at the customer's site. Based on the results, a reliable design of the production machines is possible. Pilot filters from BHS are of course also available for purchase for small-scale production.
